Attended press night for the world premiere of the Lionel Bart life story, It's A Fine Life, last night and the show and the talent in the cast blew me away.

A very clever use of songs and character names told his story, although I have a feeling parts may well have been made up.

Matt Devitt was brilliant as Lionel and he was supoorted by the wonderful Diana Croft as Joan Littlewood. Other stand out performances cames from Richard Brightiff as Bill and Philip Reed as Charlie, Reed's version of As Long As He Needs Me was right on the money and good to hear a man singing the song for a change.

Would definitely recommend the show to others.
